"Omega, despite having only just realised his new potential knew that time was now constantly against him, the conflict seemingly reaching its peak and its outcome seemingly falling into his hands; a combination of events he had never expected to be possible beforehand leaving him stuck on a road to giving either complete destruction or final salvation to the inhabitants of his homeworld.

He took a deep breath as he thought of those who had helped him to this point; those who had been beside him throughout the conflict, who had supported him in his training back in his youth, his adoptive parents who brought him up with the kindest of hearts and even the ones who had even sacrificed their lives so far protecting him in the hope that someday he would be able to defeat the menace which now plagued their world.

Now he finally had a chance to repay that love and trust.

It was now or never.

As if in that moment time seemed to stand still; his mind and body focussed purely on his opponent as he readied himself.

He stayed silent, refusing to give his adversary any indication of his emotive state, simply focussing on the task in hand as he raised his wings and steadied himself.

Without notice he raised his sword and sped towards his opponent, a deceiving smile appearing on his face as he closed in rapidly, knowing that he could afford himself no room for error against such a foe if he wished to survive the battle intact...
