Was looking through some older photos I had from my travels, thought I'd post one or two this week seeing as I've no time to draw until next weekend... :o

Snapshot of the pyramids in Giza in central Cairo, I've a few others but this one shows how they lined up the pyramids together and a few of the smaller pyramids and underground tombs they placed around the area nearby...

You have to see them in real life, the stones on the larger pyramids are huge, each stone is roughly 5ft x 6ft x 3ft (I think), I've no idea how they managed to build it, especially so long ago without modern technology! :o

I've been a couple of times for work as we have a factory over there, managed to find some spare time to visit so thought I'd share a pic or two!

I think going to Sharm-El Sheikh (north Egypt) would be nicer than Cairo itself, or the valley of the kings down south if you want to see the historical stuff such as the tombs, etc.
